Locally Owned and Operated Massage Therapy School in Amarillo, Texas.
National Examination Preparation Course
This program is designed for the Texas MT who wishes to sit for one of the National Exams. Many therapists would like to sit for a National Exam but are concerned that much of the information from a 300 hour course has been forgotten. In addition, 202 hours of material would never been covered under the old Texas 300 hour license.
This is a refresher course for all the material originally covered during the MT's 300 hour education and also includes the additional 200 hours of new material. This is strictly a continuing education program for a current MT.
This course piggybacks a 500 hour course of instruction of the Massage Training Program for Licensure. The MT is provided a syllabus for the scheduled course. The MT has the opportunity to sit for any and/or all of the hours provided during an enrollment period for a 500 hour class.
The MT is not required, but is encouraged to attend all scheduled classes. At the end of the scheduled enrollment period, a transcript will be provided for the actual hours attended.
The course outline is as follows:
Tool and aids
In addition to the textbook, workbook and coloring book, we have a variety of other teaching aids. These include anatomical models, charts, videos, computer programs, computer-based testing, a hydrotherapy room and much more!
We provide EVERYTHING that you will need in order to complete the program. You will not need to purchase equipment or supplies, it is all included. Our motto, "If we ask something of you, we will provide a means to accomplish it."
SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
December 5th, 2011
September 5th, 2012
June 4th, 2012
Cost of the Program
The cost of the program is based on 202 hours of class (that information which is new). Even though the tuition is for 202 hours, the MT is encouraged to attend all hours available at no additional cost.
You will be provided with all the information (catalog, tour, costs, expectation, etc...) at one time during a scheduled interview.
Yes, there is an interview. You should be given the chance to interview us and we should be given the chance to interview you. This is a big decision that should not be taken lightly. Each school has a different "personality".
